1.Film thickness
The thicker the film, the longer it will resist aging. The aging of PE material is caused by the irradiation of ultraviolet rays. Therefore, it is necessary to choose an agricultural film with an ultraviolet absorber and an ultraviolet stabilizer in the formula. The agricultural film with an ultraviolet absorber is like a black protective layer on the film. The ultraviolet rays are absorbed and converted into thermal energy. UV stabilizers can effectively extend the aging time of agricultural films, and even repair injured molecular structures.
2. Climate temperature
If the agricultural film is exposed to high temperature, especially the part that is in contact with the framework, it is easy to form hot spots. The agricultural film whose maximum temperature can reach 80 degrees Celsius will be particularly vulnerable to aging and damage. This is also the reason why the sunshade net cannot be directly covered on the outside of the film, and directly covering the sunshade net on the outside of the film will accelerate the aging of the film. In addition, it can also be tied with a white plastic tape or a cloth strip to the place where the frame contacts the film, which can prevent the agricultural film from being damaged by high temperature.
3. Chemicals
In particular, some pesticides and fungicides containing sulfur or chlorine components will destroy the stability of agricultural film quality. If sulfur is used for fumigation in greenhouses, it is necessary to prevent the combustion of gases from generating sulfides. Because sulfide can seriously reduce the life of agricultural film. When burning sulfur, care should be taken not to allow the temperature to exceed 160 degrees Celsius to effectively prevent the generation of sulfides.
4. Installation method
The aging phenomenon often occurs when the agricultural film is not tightened. When the wind comes, the agricultural film will continuously and quickly slap the skeleton, causing damage to the agricultural film. Therefore, when installing the agricultural film, the agricultural film must be evenly tightened. If the outdoor temperature at that time is lower than 10 degrees Celsius, after a period of time, the agricultural film should be tightened again after the temperature rises.
